Avalon's King Arthur is a June 2008 stallion from the Lady Abbigail x Clononeen Ard Ri. Ard Ri has always been a favourite of mine and there are very few of his offspring out there. Since so many drums have basically come from only a few bloodlines, Arthur will infuse new blood into the breed.
We have been looking for the perfect stallion that has the conformation, size and feather that we desire in the drum breed. We will be standing Arthur to a few, select, outside mares in 2012.

I see so much potential in this young colt. He is only 1 1/2 years old (foaled in Oct., 2009) and comes from some of the best shire blood lines. His dam is Laurel's Victoria (full sister to Laurel's Powerful Paul) x Clononeen Clover Hill
He won't be of breeding age for a few years, but he's growing like a weed, has feather to spare and just the kindest personality.
