We will gladly take in mares to foal out, mares with foals at side, young horses to 2 years old for ground training and medical layups. We are not a regular boarding facility. Our forte are mares, youngsters and layups!
Nearly all horses are turned out 24/7 unless other arrangements are made. This is much healthier for the pregnant mare and young horses. Mares that are here to foal out are stalled at night as are mares with foals up to three months old. Layups are housed as per vet instructions. Each horse is brought in twice daily for feeding to their own stall. All horses are stalled during inclement weather. I don't like my horses out when it's lightening - and we will treat your horse like it's one of our own!
Main Barn: 2004 barnmaster barn with twelve 12 x 12 stalls. Amenities include: tack room, wash rack (hot and cold running water), utility room with washer, dryer and bathroom.
Mare Barn: Newly installed six 12 x 24 stalls. Wash rack (hot and cold water) with stocks. The mare barn is fully monitored with infrared cameras in every stall. In addition, each pregnant mare wears an
Turnout: We have 4 grassy paddocks available. Horses in these paddocks are usually mares that are here to be bred and are hayed at noon. Otherwise, horses are turned out in the pastures (coastal/bermuda mix).
Full grooming is available. Please see Rates below. Otherwise, we just give them a quick brush-over in the morning.
Because we give such individualized care, space is limited. Book early!
