Riding and Driving

For the last several years, we've been competing in Driving Trials. These are driving competitions over a one or two day period where we compete in three phases: Dressage, Cones and Marathon. Shane and Murphy are our pair of 12 year old haflingers that we've been training and competing with since 2006. They are just known as "The Boys" and they are a great pair!

Kathleen Bowen has been our trusty Navigator/Groom. We have oodles of fun together and the four of us together are a great team.

Horse Feathers Walter (The Subaru Stallion x Whitney)

Walter is a lovely, tradional cob type Gypsy. He actually isn't gelded yet, as I want to wait and see what he grows into. Walter is my first step towards getting a pair of gypsies to compete with in driving. I'm still looking for his match, filly or gelding. In the meantime, he and Spangles hang out and play like any other rambunctious colts! GHRA registered.
