PROVEN IN LINEAGE
Aislan is a DNA verified son of the famous Lion King (PO lines) and has Fred Walker bloodlines on his dams side. He stands 14.3+hh and is just beautifully built like his sire, Lion King: strong joints, wonderful bone, and a compact, short back. He has a lovely head, with expressive ears and has one and a half blue eyes. Aislan has outstanding action to match his outstanding temperament.

PROVEN IN GET
Aislan has already bred some superb foals - although this was only to be expected as he is descended from the finest gypsy cobs. He has already marked his stamp on the breed, passing on his exceptional conformation, movement and feather. Additionally, Aislan is homozygous for the tobiano gene so will always produce colour, no matter what he is bred to. His colour genetics are: TT/EE/aa.

PROVEN IN PERFORMANCE
Aislan is one of the very few stallions that actually competes in performance classes at shows. He does well in halter classes too - always in the top three and has several Champion, Grand Champion and Supreme Grand Champion ribbons to his name. MORE important, he also competes as an ALL AROUND, ATHLETIC Gypsy. He has placed well in WTC, Equitation, Hunter Hack and Obstacle. 2010 has marked his debut as an eventer with two first place wins in his division. He has turned out to be a lovely jumper and dressage horse. Aislan is currently in driving training with Tom O'Carroll of Good Hands Training Center. Aislan is one of the BEST PERFORMANCE STALLIONS in the USA.

Aislan is extremely gentle and sweet in nature - the epitome of what a good Gypsy stallion should be. He will only be open to 3 outside Gypsy mares and 3 feathered drafts (Clydesdale or Shire) in 2011.

I have been asked on numerous occasions to breed Aislan to non-feathered horses and will allow this on a case by case basis for Thoroughbreds or Arabians. He will add bone, temperament and colour. He will improve the hair on your foal, but the foal will not have feather.

His breeding fee in 2011 will be $1500 for all feathered horses and $700 for TB or Arabs. He will be available for live cover as well as fresh cooled semen.

Aislan and Caren (his trainer and rider) after winning their first CT event (dressage and stadium jumping!) Most eventers had never seen a gypsy, let alone one that jumps!
Here is a video of Aislan's first full Horse Trials held on 12/5/10 at Pine Hill, TX. It is a one day event - Dressage, Stadium Jumping and Cross Country. As this was his second event, he is still in the Green As Grass division. Considering that he has only been in jump training for 8 months, he has come along extremely well. His dressage score was a fantastic 29.5 and he went clear in both stadium and cross country. He had only really ever jumped the white fence in practice (second to the last fence in CC), and never a roll top. Needless to say, we are very proud of our boy! Caren, his trainer and rider has really brought out his jumping spirit!
