Competitions
For the last two years, we've been competing in Driving Trials. These
are driving competitions over a one or two day period where we compete
in three phases: Dressage, Cones and Marathon. Shane and Murphy are our
pair of ten year old haflingers that we've been training and competing
with since 2006.
2007

Texas Draft Horse and Mule Association Horse Show. October 2007
Aislan's first show and he did wonderfully, receiving first in the
Gypsy Stallion Division, Grand Champion Gypsy and Reserve Supreme Grand
Champion for the day. In the last class, he was up against all draft
breed Champions. We are very proud of him! Special thanks to Mark and
Gretta Sleeper for showing him for me (I had to work that day!)
2008
This is a rare breed expo, along with clinics, information and
performances. We will be presenting our Friesian mare, Gerbrich.
We will be showing Aislan of Lion King and a few of our other gypsies.

Sunrise Ridge, Paradise TX: April 5th
The Boys did really well and the marathon obstacles more challenging.
We received 5th place, but somehow we ended up competing with the
single ponies. Hopefully next year we can compete with the multiple
horses!
It was a blistering HOT day here in sunny TX. But we had fun. The Boys
and I tied for first place in dressage, with a fantastic score of
39.75! We also won our working group, placed second in marathon and
fourth in fault and out. A fun day!
